A Night Owls Ramblings...

Man...I'm becoming a regular night owl not going to bed until 4 am everyday...I think tomorrow I'm going to start on sleeping pills so I can go to bed a decent hour...say 1? lol

Still haven't brought my self to make my big fiji update...will come soon though. or you could just ask me about it i suppose...

Started prepping for school yesterday. I now have all my winter coats, sweaters, and scarves in a big, fatty suitcase...need to get some boxes. Made my list up of stoof to do, stoof to buy and stoof to pack. So much shit. Need to apply for a new passport ASAP too...want to get it before I leave...doubt I will though.

Need to book my ticket to DC this week too. Looks like I'll be trekking out all by my lonesome now. So I have no choice but to box and ship. oh well...this way I won't have like 5 pieces of luggage when I get there. lol. I think that I'm going to fly in on the 18th, spend the night in a hotel, then get a start bright and early on the 19th organizing all my shit. Need to also decide if I want to loft. Lofting could be nice what with the extra room and such, but at the same time, knowing me, i would probably fall off my bed...i wish I could loft with my bed on the ground and my desk on the top level. that could be interesting...lol. I think that I might just end up using cinder(sp) blocks just to give my self extra storage under my bed. I'll get a couple big plastic crates and put all my winter clothes in there, then come winter, pull that out, put it in the closet and put my warm weather clothes under my bed...sounds like a plan. I also need to figure out if I want to book a one way ticket or roundtrip open ticket...I'm seriously considering going to london for winter break if I have money to see wendy. I loved london in the spring...london during the winter would be AMAZING! lol. but thats something I'll think about later. I think ill just go ahead and book a one way ticket for like 180...works for me...i guess...although I wish it was cheper...like 120...that would be nice. oh well. such is life.

Need to get my ass in gear on a lap top as well...I think I'm going to just settle for a Dell, even though they aren't my prefered company, they have a pretty decent accidental damage warranty...which I think I'll need in the dorms next year. will see what happens I suppose. although i did get my mom to agree to buy me a 1500 lap top earlier today...there's some food for thought. lol.

I'm kind of bummed. My dad hasn't been very....welcoming? i guess...I dunno...I was really excited to get home and see him from fiji but then when I got here...nada. then like today he called me and was like "I have to drive up to edmonds to get the check for bon ton, want to come?" and me, thinking that he just wanted to spend some time with me cuz we haven't seen each other for more then 10 minutes since I got back said yes. THAT was fun. turns our he just wanted me to drive to edmonds cuz he was tired. gee...quality time there dad. I dunno...i guess I'm kind of dissapointed...I mean, franklin and rob seemed happier to see me than my own dad...:( Oh well...story of my fuckin' life.

Well, I guess I'll stop with my late night ramblings...I'm actually starting to feel some what sleepy. Will attempt to sleep I suppose...if I can't...I have about 5 books I'm reading or want to read...won't be bored...I hope.

I know I said I was going to bed, but I can't sleep. You don't need sleeping pills, you shouldn't induce foreign substances into your body unless it's really nessicary, particularly not if you're going to depend on them.

Just go to bed at 4 as usual and set two or three very loud alarm clocks for 10:00 AM (or have someone force you to wake up). You'll get one complete REM cycle which will be enough to keep you awake for the rest of the day, but your second one will be interupted so you'll be perpetually tired, then you'll be able to fall asleep no problem at all at whatever time you please (say, 10:00 PM). It may not feel like you're tired by that point, but you will be, and if you lay down in he dark you'll fall asleep in just a couple of minutes.

Don't ask me why I know so much about sleep, it's a long story, just trust me; I'm right.

Lol... if I really want to adjust my habits. I don't sleep. Get some people to spend the night one night and not sleep...or in my case sometimes, I play games/watch anime/read books to stay up all night. Go out to parks and hang out till dawn. Then go about your day...

You'll drop dead asleep at 10 pm and your schedule would be fixed. I'm pretty nocturnal during the summer. But if I wanted to adjust my sleeping habits I could do it any time.

But if you really can't stand being awake for 20+ hours, then this won't be for you lol.
